“SPLASH”
Il progetto europeo eTwinning “SPLASH” (febbraio–giugno 2025) ha coinvolto la classe 1F, composta da 22 alunni della Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado Ugo Foscolo (indirizzo potenziato in tedesco), e una classe sesta della Finow Grundschule, una Scuola Europea Italo-Tedesca di Berlino.
Il tema centrale era l’acqua nelle sue varie forme. Le lingue utilizzate sono state l’italiano e il tedesco; i contenuti sono stati affrontati in modo interdisciplinare, coinvolgendo diverse materie (tedesco, geografia, scienze).
L’obiettivo del progetto era esplorare il tema dell’acqua in tutte le sue sfaccettature e incoraggiare un approccio consapevole e sostenibile a questo elemento. In senso più ampio, il tema è stato inserito in un contesto europeo, poiché gli alunni si sono confrontati non solo con i loro coetanei di Berlino, ma anche con la realtà della propria vita quotidiana. Il lavoro è stato svolto utilizzando situazioni e materiali autentici, e gli studenti sono stati coinvolti in modo attivo e creativo in tutte le fasi del progetto, scambiando i prodotti del loro lavoro e comunicandosi attraverso una piattaforma sicura, il Twinspace.
Nella classe 1F è stato inoltre avviato, durante le ore di tedesco, un laboratorio di educazione teatrale in lingua tedesca, realizzato dal Teatro Stabile di Bolzano in collaborazione con l’associazione Theatraki, della durata di 15 ore. Dopo un primo confronto con la pedagogista teatrale Astrid Gärber, che ha coordinato il laboratorio, si è deciso di integrare l’attività nel progetto eTwinning.
Gli alunni hanno lavorato con entusiasmo, in modo autentico e creativo, organizzandosi in gruppi per realizzare pubblicità per un canale giovanile sul tema dell’uso sostenibile dell’acqua. Il laboratorio si è concluso con uno spettacolo teatrale nell’aula polifunzionale della scuola, rappresentato l’ultimo giorno di scuola e dedicato al tema del progetto eTwinning.
Durante lo spettacolo gli alunni hanno presentato il canale giovanile e diverse “puntate”, inserendo video, pubblicità sull’uso dell’acqua, piccole scene, quiz, interviste, canzoni e coreografie- tutti creati durante il laboratorio teatrale. Sono state integrate allo spettacolo anche le pubblicità realizzate dagli alunni della classe di Berlino. All’evento hanno assistito anche due classi eTwinning dell’istituto con i rispettivi insegnanti, per favorire la disseminazione dei risultati del progetto.
Il nostro progetto eTwinning ha ricevuto in ottobre 2025 un riconoscimento dall’Unità nazionale eTwinning / Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE: il Certificato di Qualità (Quality Label).

Gli alunni hanno condiviso in classe la loro esperienza, offrendo un feedback molto positivo sul progetto. Hanno anche sottolineato quanto il laboratorio teatrale sia stato per loro un’occasione speciale per imparare divertendosi, per superare la timidezza, per rafforzare il lavoro di gruppo e per esprimere emozioni e idee in modo creativo.
Grazie a questa esperienza, gli alunni hanno potuto comprendere come un progetto collaborativo con un’altra scuola europea, integrando diverse materie e l’arte, possa diventare un mezzo per riflettere su temi importanti — come l’uso sostenibile dell’acqua — e per trasmettere messaggi di valore in modo autentico, personale e significativo.

Europäisches e-Twinning-Projekt „SPLASH“
Das europäische eTwinning-Projekt „SPLASH“ (Februar–Juni 2025) hat die Klasse 1F, bestehend aus 22 Schülerinnen und Schülern der Mittelschule Ugo Foscolo (mit Deutschpotenzierung) und eine sechste Klasse der Finow-Grundschule, einer deutsch-italienischen Europaschule in Berlin, einbezogen.
Zentraler Schwerpunkt war das Thema Wasser in seinen vielfältigen Formen. Die Arbeitssprachen waren Italienisch und Deutsch; die Inhalte wurden fächerübergreifend vermittelt, unter Einbeziehung verschiedener Unterrichtsfächer (Deutsch, Geografie, Naturwissenschaften).
Das Ziel des Projekts war es, das Thema „Wasser“ in all seinen Facetten zu erkunden und einen bewussten sowie nachhaltigen Umgang mit diesem Element zu fördern. Im weiteren Sinne wurde das Thema in einen europäischen Kontext eingebettet, da die Schülerinnen und Schüler sich nicht nur mit Gleichaltrigen in Berlin austauschten, sondern auch Bezüge zu ihrem eigenen Alltag herstellten. Gearbeitet wurde mit authentischen Situationen und Materialien; die Lernenden waren in allen Phasen des Projekts aktiv und kreativ beteiligt, tauschten ihre Arbeitsergebnisse aus und kommunizierten über eine sichere Plattform, das Twinspace.
In der Klasse 1F wurde zudem im Rahmen des Deutschunterrichts ein Theaterlabor in deutscher Sprache durchgeführt, realisiert vom Teatro Stabile di Bolzano in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verein Theatraki, mit einer Gesamtdauer von 15 Stunden. Nach einem ersten Austausch mit der Theaterpädagogin Astrid Gärber, die das Labor leitete, wurde entschieden, diese Aktivität in das eTwinning-Projekt zu integrieren.
Die Schülerinnen und Schüler arbeiteten mit großem Enthusiasmus, authentisch und kreativ. Sie organisierten sich in Gruppen, um Werbespots für einen Jugendkanal zum Thema nachhaltige Wassernutzung zu entwickeln. Das Labor endete mit einer Theateraufführung in der Aula unserer Schule, die am letzten Schultag präsentiert wurde und ebenfalls dem Thema des eTwinning-Projekts gewidmet war.
Während der Aufführung stellten die Schülerinnen und Schüler den Jugendkanal sowie verschiedene „Sendungen“ vor. Sie integrierten Videos, Werbespots zur Wassernutzung, kleine Szenen, Quizformate, Interviews, Lieder und Choreografien – alles während des Theaterlabors entstanden. Auch die Werbespots der Berliner Klasse wurden in die Aufführung eingebunden. Zwei weitere eTwinning-Klassen der Schule nahmen mit ihren Lehrpersonen teil, um die Verbreitung der Projektergebnisse zu fördern.
Unser eTwinning-Projekt erhielt im Oktober 2025 eine Auszeichnung von der nationalen eTwinning-Koordinationsstelle / der nationalen Erasmus+ Agentur INDIRE: das Quality Label (Qualitätssiegel).

Die Schülerinnen und Schüler haben im Unterricht über ihre Erfahrungen berichtet und ein sehr positives Feedback zum Projekt gegeben. Sie betonten außerdem, wie wertvoll das Theaterlabor für sie gewesen sei: eine besondere Gelegenheit, mit Freude zu lernen, Schüchternheit zu überwinden, Teamarbeit zu stärken und Gefühle sowie Ideen kreativ auszudrücken.
Dank dieser Erfahrung konnten die Schülerinnen und Schüler verstehen, wie ein gemeinsames Projekt mit einer anderen europäischen Schule – unter Einbezug verschiedener Fächer und des Theaters– zu einem Mittel werden kann, über wichtige Themen wie die nachhaltige Nutzung von Wasser nachzudenken und wertvolle Botschaften auf authentische, persönliche und bedeutungsvolle Weise zu vermitteln.

European e-Twinning Project “SPLASH”
The European eTwinning project “SPLASH” (February–June 2025) involved class 1F, consisting of 22 students from the Ugo Foscolo Middle School (with enhanced German program), as well as a sixth-grade class from the Finow Elementary School, an Italian-German European School in Berlin.
The central theme of the project was water in its various forms. The languages used were Italian and German; the content was approached in an interdisciplinary way, involving multiple subjects (German, Geography, Science).
The aim of the project was to explore the topic of water in all its aspects and to encourage a conscious and sustainable approach to this element. More broadly, the theme was placed in a European context, as students interacted not only with their peers in Berlin but also reflected on their own daily lives. Work was carried out using authentic situations and materials, and students were actively and creatively involved in all stages of the project, exchanging the products of their work and communicating through a secure platform, the Twinspace.
In class 1F, a German-language theater education workshop was also conducted during German lessons. This workshop was organized by the Teatro Stabile di Bolzano in collaboration with the association Theatraki, and had a duration of 15 hours. After an initial consultation with the theater pedagogue Astrid Gärber, who coordinated the workshop, it was decided to integrate the activity into the eTwinning project.
The students worked with enthusiasm, authenticity, and creativity, organizing themselves into groups to create advertisements for a youth channel on the topic of sustainable water use. The workshop concluded with a theatrical performance in the school’s multipurpose hall, presented on the last day of school and dedicated to the theme of the eTwinning project.
During the performance, students presented the youth channel and various “episodes,” including videos, water-use advertisements, short scenes, quizzes, interviews, songs, and choreographies — all created during the theater workshop. The performance also included advertisements created by the Berlin class. Two other eTwinning classes from the school, along with their teachers, attended the event to support the dissemination of the project results.
Our eTwinning project received recognition in October 2025 from the national eTwinning unit / Erasmus+ National Agency INDIRE: the Quality Label

The students shared their experience in class, giving very positive feedback on the project. They also emphasized how the theater workshop was a special opportunity for them to learn while having fun, overcome shyness, strengthen teamwork, and express emotions and ideas creatively.
Thanks to this experience, students were able to understand how a collaborative project with another European school, integrating multiple subjects and art, can become a way to reflect on important issues — such as sustainable water use — and to convey meaningful messages in an authentic, personal, and significant way.
